Scamp Edmonton has moved !!! We are now located at 10260 21 St. Edmonton. The facility is strategically located for better access to the loading terminals and boasts a larger square footage to host our expanding operations in Edmonton and Alberta.

Scamp Transport is pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Robertson to the position of Operations Manager (Alberta) effective February 1st, 2012. Derek joins us with over 25 years of operational, management and emergency response experience in both the upstream and downstream hydrocarbon transportation business.
We wish Derek great success in his new role and are excited by the enhanced capabilities and opportunities that he brings to our organization. Derek will be based at our new Calgary terminal opening in March 2012.

One year ago today Erv Doerksen '#1' was tragically taken from us. Erv's family arranged a small memorial unveiling a bench with a plaque in Erv's name. Around 80 of Erv's Family & Friends attended this rainy event to honor Erv's memory.
The bench is located alongside the Sumas River, approx. 1 km east along the walking trail on the north side of the river from the Eldridge Rd Parking Lot (Just North of Akinson Road, by North Parallel Road, Abbotsford). This area was chosen as Erv & his family took many walks here.

Yesterday saw the first annual Run for an Angel* Team Erv, which was a great success, attended by over 35 Scamp family and friends. Kim, Megan & Kailey did a great job organizing everything!
The total raised for Children's Hospital in Erv's memory was an amazing $9085 !!!
Well done to everyone who participated and donated to this great cause!

It is with deepest regrets that today we announce a rockslide tragically claimed the life of our most senior driver, Erv Doerksen. He was killed instantly by a falling rock that entered the cab he was driving.
Erv was a strong, caring man who touched everyone’s life in different ways. His faith, love and compassion made lasting impressions on everyone he met. He was loved with a love beyond telling and will be missed with a grief beyond tears….
You are forever in the hearts and minds of the loving family you have left behind…
