Scamp is a family business that originally began in 1981 with one truck. Through dedication, hard work and a commitment to succeed Scamp has evolved to become the premier bulk petroleum transporter in Western Canada.

From the trucks we drive to the onboard software used by our drivers, Scamp operates using only the very best equipment and the latest technological innovations in the industry.

Our strict safety protocols and specialized driver training are essential for accident and injury prevention. Our adherence to all safety guidelines has served us well and allows us to maintain optimum efficiency while out on the road.

Our services

While the majority of our business is hauling bulk petroleum products safely to retail and cardlock stations across BC, we also excel at delivering to Bulk plants, Airports, and Ferries too! Our 24/7 dispatch department uses our in-house inventory management software. Our software assists us in staying ahead of any unexpected challenges that can occur in real time.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

COR Certification

Scamp first achieved COR, (Certificate of Recognition) in 2013 with 93% and has re-certified to current with 100% RTW and 97% Health & Safety. The program verifies businesses that meet the guidelines set out by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations.

Energy Safety Canada

Energy Safety Canada is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of safety training for oil and gas workers. This connection benefits Scamp with improved access to safety data analysis and better efficiency through our shared solutions and safety standards.

Premium Carrier Program

This program was Introduced by the B.C. Government to recognize carriers with an outstanding commitment to road safety. Scamp has been honoured with the Premium Carrier designation for our National Safety Code rating and excellent track records with WorkSafeBC and ICBC.
